Nestled amongst the rolling Leicestershire wolds, the Rose & Crown is a place to slow down. Our kitchen looks first to the seasons, then to the growers and producers we know by name. Whether it is a long lunch by the fire, a Sunday gathering, or an evening in the Garden Room, you will find generous cooking, considered wines and an easy sort of welcome.

The Garden Room
A private room for gatherings.
Our garden room seats up to twenty in a light-filled space. It is ideal for birthdays, anniversaries and private lunches, offered on a semi-private basis for smaller parties and exclusively for gatherings of ten or more.
- Seats 10–20 guests, seated or standing.
- Set menus from three courses, tailored to the occasion.
- Exclusive hire for parties of ten and over.

From the Pass
A season of signature plates.
A changing carte written each week. A glimpse of recent plates from the kitchen — the menu itself is written the morning it is served.

Fireside
A fire lit each evening from October to April.
The snug is the heart of the pub — flagstone floors, a cast-iron stove and two deep leather chairs that seem to know when you have had a long day. Order an aperitif, take a book from the shelf and let dinner come to you.
The Snug
Seats six, first-come first-served for drinks; reservable for private aperitifs.
